Myy Mall Shopping Complex, Lutong township's first shopping complex. Described as a “suburban family friendly mall”, the mall opened to the general public in 2013. Its anchor supermarket is Econsave.

Located in front of Morsjaya Commercial Center, the mall was built and completed in 2010.
Taman Awam Miri or Public Park is about 3km from the city center along the Miri-Bintulu Road. 
Pelita pedestrian bridge at the Miri-Pujut Road in front of Pelita Commercial Area is a bridge spanning forty six meters from end to end. This bridge links the residential areas at the foothills of Canada Hill Kampung Lereng Bukit to Pelita Commercial Area.
The story begins with a Mr. C.C. (Claude Champion) de Crespigny, then the Resident of Baram, who was the first to record the presence of oil in Sarawak. The entry in his diary, dated 31st July 1882, refers to oil discovered in some 18 wells dug by hand by the local inhabitants.
