'Hawaii Beach' is a stretch of beach known for its beautiful location and blue calm seas, very popular with Mirians that is located at Kampung Bakam. The beach is about a 25 minute drive from Miri city center. The entrance is at Bakam village, and the entrance is through a wooden footbridge leads to the palm-fringed beach. Picnic and barbecue facilities can be provided for a small charge.

Miri's latest clock tower is located at Times Square, in the middle of the plaza. The clock is analogue, with roman numerals.
The Senadin Water Theme Park in Miri Sarawak, Borneo, is part of a larger project that will include a shopping complex and hotel. The park is expected to open in 2015.
