Adong River (Sungai Adong) is a river that joins flowing from the North-East highlands near Baram into the Miri River off of Pujut One & Two. There are pineapple farms in the area, and the farmers used boats to transport their pineapple by Adong river to Pujut 3. As the land surrounding the river are mostly undeveloped farmlands or agricultural lands, transportation of goods is still mainly by boat.
Further upstream the river is joined by Adong Kecil River, which is a smaller stream flowing from slightly south of Adong River also from the North-East.

Chan Chak Road (Jalan Chan Chak) is a small residential lane named after a wise man in Miri in the early 1900s.
Built in 1913, and (then) located next to the Miri River and alongside the 
Sri Gadong was a small steel cargo vessel about 30-meter in length, commissioned to carry sawn timber when it was sunk off the coast of Miri. The wreck is a popular dive site in Miri.
