The Miri Recreation Club was one of the long line of clubs in Miri. Today the club doesn't exist any more, and the building the club was in now houses the Urban and Social Development Offices.
The Club provides an option of chalets and rooms which are spread around a beautiful and lush landscape and international standard golf facility comprising of an 18-hole-course.
Piasau Boat Club is Borneo's premier sports and leisure club. The club hosts activities such as sailing, diving, fishing, rowing, various ball sports as well as parties for both adults and kids.
The Piasau Nature Reserve, situated at what was formerly Piasau Camp at the Miri Peninsula, was officially gazetted on 21st June 2014 as a result of public petitioning.
