Seahorse Island (not its official name) is planned to be a man-made island, in the shape of Miri's mascot - the seahorse - for the 3rd phase of the Brighton Beach's redevelopment master plan. Once completed this island will be about 800 metres off the coast from Brighton Beach, and planned to feature recreational, commercial and residential areas.
According to JKR, there will half road closure at Pujut-Bulatan "Flyover" adjacent to Boulevard Shopping Complex from 1st of August to 7th August, 8.30 am to 4.30pm for some repair work on the expansion joint.
Miri Bypass Bridge is a bridge linking Permy directly to the bypass road to directly to Eastwood Industrial Area, Eastwood Golf Club, Miri Airport, or Taman Tunku. The bridge cut approximately 10 minutes of travel time from Permy area to Airport area simply by bypassing the rest of Miri via this route over the Miri River.

The Miri Council Multistory Car Park (Bangunan Letak Kereta M.B.M.), built in the early 1990s alongside Miri's first Pedestrian Bridge at Kingsway.
