Soon Hup Shopping Complex is a shopping mall with hotel complex located in the city center next to Beautiful Jade Center. Being the third fully air conditioned shopping complex in Miri after Oil Town Shopping Complex and Pelita Tunku, its anchor tenant was Parkwell back in late 1980 to mids 1990s and was pretty popular back in the day.
The complex is still in operation today as of 2015, and there are several handicraft and souvenir shops within that would interest foreigners, although there is no anchor tenant supermarket / departmental store. Right at the complex entrance corner, between the Mega Hotel entrance and Shopping Complex entrance, resides LAKU Management, where Mirians go to pay their water utility bills.
