'Hawaii Beach' is a stretch of beach known for its beautiful location and blue calm seas, very popular with Mirians that is located at Kampung Bakam. The beach is about a 25 minute drive from Miri city center. The entrance is at Bakam village, and the entrance is through a wooden footbridge leads to the palm-fringed beach. Picnic and barbecue facilities can be provided for a small charge.

Ironically located at a depression of the hills and surrounded by higher terrain, Hilltop Garden is a small residential community that was built in the mid 1980s just off Riam Road.
The two storey solid wooden building housing the museum today was built in the year 1897 as a fort by the second White Rajah, Charles Brooke to impose peace and order in the region where warfare among the local tribes prevailed. 
The Brighton is Miri's first luxury condominium, located at Brighton next to the Parkcity Everly hotel, overlooking the Miri River and offering panaromic views of the South China Sea and its beautiful seaside sunsets.
The Senadin Water Theme Park in Miri Sarawak, Borneo, is part of a larger project that will include a shopping complex and hotel. The park is expected to open in 2015.
