Columbia Asia Hospital-Miri was acquired in 1998. Located 4km from downtown Miri, it is a fully licensed community hospital in Sarawak. It serves the communities of Miri, Limbang, Marudi also Brunei, among others.

Shell employees make up the largest customer base of this hospital. Before 1998, the hospital was known as the Selesa Medical Center.

Yu Lan Plaza - Glass Tower

Yu Lan Plaza is the first all-glass high rise building in Miri. It is located in the midst of the old Miri town area, located next to the Miri Old Open Air Market. From far, Yu Lan Plaza is an easily recognizable landmark.


Sarawak White Pepper

Sarawak white pepper is a variety of white pepper that is grown and produced in Sarawak and is known for its unique taste and aroma, which is considered to be milder and less pungent than black pepper. It is often used in dishes that require a more delicate flavor, such as soups, sauces, and light-colored dishes like mashed potatoes, where black pepper would not be ideal.

Mukah is a coastal town in the Mukah District in the Mukah Division of Sarawak by the South China Sea. Mukah is also accessible by air by MASwings from Miri.

Miri Recreation Club

The Miri Recreation Club was one of the long line of clubs in Miri. Today the club doesn't exist any more, and the building the club was in now houses the Urban and Social Development Offices.
