The Miri Public Swimming Pool, open to public in the late 1980s features a competition sized 50 meter length pool with high diving platforms, along with the usual kiddie pool, with locker, showering and changing room facilities.
The pool is located at the City Fan, right next to the Library. The pool has an allocated area for parking for conveninence.

Within Centerpoint Phase 2 there is a roofed roofed common walkway corridor where one can find many food & drinks stalls and coffeeshops.
Measuring 1.3 km in length and 10 meters in width, this track is currently the longest go kart race track in the country, and the only one in Sarawak & Sabah, built to the international track standards for karting.
The story begins with a Mr. C.C. (Claude Champion) de Crespigny, then the Resident of Baram, who was the first to record the presence of oil in Sarawak. The entry in his diary, dated 31st July 1882, refers to oil discovered in some 18 wells dug by hand by the local inhabitants.
