Desa Seri is a residential area located next to Boulevard Commercial Center.
On June 10, 1945, troops of the Australian 9th Division occupied Labuan Island. Within 11 days, they had landed on the mainland and liberated Miri and Seria. 
Nicknamed "Blue Tears" among the locals, this phenomenon is a sight to behold and has sent many people to the beaches in the evenings.
