Coco Cabana an event space that is located at the tip of Marina Bay area river mouth mound sea wall event space, featuring an art gallery, gift shop, food stalls, cafe and museums. The building features intricately carved wooden detailing on the main hall, and the location offers a sunset view at sea and the Miri coastline. The building was previously a seafood restaurant prior to this.
The Miri Seahorse scultpture at the bay rivermouth is located right beside it.
The annual Borneo Jazz festival will be held here annually after a venue change from the The Pavillion of ParkCity Hotel. Other annual festivals or events are also held here on occasion.

Miri Methodist Children's Home is an orphanage in Miri. The orphanage is a non-profit body and depends greatly on public support and donations made possible by contributions of members of the public.
The Al-Taqwa Mosque was built about 30 years ago, and is one of the larger mosques in Miri. 
Literally, Sungai Tujoh is translated as the Seventh River or Seventh Stream spelled in the form of Bruneian Malay language. An immigration post was built in the 1960s to control the movement of goods and people between Miri and points west in Sarawak with Brunei, at this "7th river".
In the old days, a ferry allows commuters to cross the river from the town to the Miri peninsula conveniently. The ferry is also vital to the hospital emergency responses.
