Depicting a boy spiking a volleyball over a net on a beach and with half a ball protruding from the wall, this mural is just one of many photo taking opportunities in Miri.
Created in 2019-2020 as a charity by a local artist and organised by local businesses.

Times Square is the new & upcoming commercial center located in front of old town center built on reclaimed land over what was the Miri River and peninsula.
Built in 1925, near Tanjung Lobang, this historic hilltop mansion used to be the Residency of Miri. It is now a VVIP Rest House. Dignitaries that have used this Rest House in the past ranged from White Rajahs, British Governors, Yang Dipertuan Agong, and many more.
River Road was the name of the road that stretches from the Tua Pek Kong Temple, past the fish market, old bus station (now a roundabout), the old Miri Port Authority Building (now Arcadia Square), ending at the old shop houses of what is now known as the Harbour View Inn building.
The first air conditioned shopping complex building in Miri, built up to more than 10 stories high, also a first.
