Cendol is a sweet dessert that is very popular when the days are hot. Can be sold in cup packages as a pre-made drink, or found at Ais Batu Campur (ABC) stalls, at either Beautiful Jade Center, Old Folks' Street, Krokop 5 or at Bintang Commercial Center.
Ask around for the most recommended places, are many choices at Beautiful Jade Center stalls.

On the Sunday of 21st, May, 1994, the "Miri Resort City" Publicity Launch Campaign was launched. The very grand occassion featured lots of shows, grand exhibitions with impressive publicity on what the future of Miri would hold. 
The City 'Tram' was introduced in March 2008 in Miri as a free, non-profit service that the Sarawak Tourism Board implemented for tourists and hotel guests to enjoy free public transportation services.
Miri Plaza was originally a shopping mall at Pelita Commercial Center that is four stories tall, built in the early 1990s. Its anchor tenant was Metropolitan Department Store & Supermarket.
