Chan Chak Road (Jalan Chan Chak) is a residential lane named after a wise man in Miri in the early 1900s, who locals sought advice from. The lane connects Krokop 10 through to Krokop 6, intersecting Krokop 9, Krokop 8, and Krokop 7.

Royal Mulu Resort was built on wooden stilts above the ground and linked by wooden walkways, the Resort stands on the banks of the Melinau River, in the midst of a breathtaking natural splendor in exotic Sarawak, Borneo.

St. Columba's Kindergarten one of the oldest kindergartens in Miri. Interestingly enough, the building was not built as a kindergarten, it was originally a church - the St. Columba's church - built and completed way back in 3rd September 1922. 
Rojak is a 'salad' of either fruits such as pineapples, and vegetables like cucumber , turnip, tofu, and fried dough, and mixed in shrimp paste and sprinkled with crushed peanuts. The taste is exotic and a fusion these fruits and is a favorite among Mirians.
