Miri River is the body of water that splits Miri Peninsula and the mainland Miri, flowing out to sea from inland, curving at Lutong Town. It is incorrectly marked as Sungai Baong in some online maps, while other references online confused it with Baram River.

Riam Road is one of the oldest roads in Miri. Originally just a dirt and stone path road, today the road is tar sealed, and connects from Miri-Bintulu Roadway intersection at King Commercial Center to Alpine Road.

Miri Bypass Bridge is a bridge linking Permy directly to the bypass road to directly to Eastwood Industrial Area, Eastwood Golf Club, Miri Airport, or Taman Tunku. The bridge cut approximately 10 minutes of travel time from Permy area to Airport area simply by bypassing the rest of Miri via this route over the Miri River.
