Limbang is a town in between the borders of Brunei. To get to Limbang by road, one has to go through Brunei immigration. The Limbang Regional Museum is located here in a fort built by Rajah Charles Brooke in 1897.

The wreck of a Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer CC.1 aircraft, located at Bario Airport can still be seen today having sat around for more than 50 years.
Millions of bat swarms out out of the Deer Cave in order to hunt for insects at dusk, usually about 5pm to 7pm. On some occasions they have been known to fly out at 4pm, usually on darker, cloudy days.

ProfessorTamiji Inoue was killed in a plane crash in Lambir Hills National Park.
St. Columba's Kindergarten one of the oldest kindergartens in Miri. Interestingly enough, the building was not built as a kindergarten, it was originally a church - the St. Columba's church - built and completed way back in 3rd September 1922.
