Miri Methodist Children's Home is an orphanage in Miri. The orphanage is a non-profit body and depends greatly on public support and donations made possible by contributions of members of the public.
The home had recently moved to a new and modern building built and donated specifically for the purpose.
The public are encouraged to visit the children during school holidays because during weekdays and schooldays the children follow regular school time schedules.

Miri Handicraft Center has various traditional handicrafts and pottery on display and for sale at the center. Artwork such as paintings are also its main attraction. Visitors are welcome to know more about our local cultures and browse through the many hand-made crafts & souvenirs home. 
Gilbert Estate is one of the older residential areas in Miri, sandwiched in the middle of what is now large commercial areas.
Measuring 1.3 km in length and 10 meters in width, this track is currently the longest go kart race track in the country, and the only one in Sarawak & Sabah, built to the international track standards for karting.
Nowadays the only way in to Miri by plane, and the only way for quick access to Mulu.
