The Al-Taqwa Mosque was built about 30 years ago, and is one of the larger mosques in Miri. Located by Persekutuan Road and Kipas Road next to the Permaisuri Mall, the mosque featured meeting rooms, a religious library and burial preparation facilities and is regularly visited by the many in the city for prayers and other activities.
