Hilltop Garden is a small residential community that was built in the early / mid 1980s just off Riam Road. Ironically, contrary to its namesake, the community is located at a depression of the hill and surrounded by higher terrain. The housing consists of double-story detached buildings, semi-detached, double-story terrace and single-story terrace. Two shophouses are located within, the first one along the Hilltop North Road (Hilltop Utama) and the second at Hilltop South Road (Hilltop Selatan).

Canada Hill is a stretch of hill that runs along Miri from North East to South West, and goes from Tanjong Lobang cliffs to Luak to Pujut Corner. Miri's first oil well - Grand Old Lady - now an official landmark and historical site - was built on top of it. 
Dynasty Hotel is strategically located right in the center of Miri. Within walking distance of leading shopping malls, government offices, banks and historical and modern places of interest and tourism spots. The airport is only a 15 minute drive away in clear traffic conditions.
Krokop is a large residential area that spans from Jalan Krokop Utama to Jalan Jee Foh and Jalan Krokop 1 Road to Jalan Krokop 10 Road.
Miri Open Air Market, or Miri Central Market is located at the heart of the old town center. This is a market place with sections that offer a variety of fruits, vegetables, tofu and pork for morning shoppers.
