Miri Central is (as of 2016) a proposed commercial area located at the junction of Jalan Cahaya and Miri Bypass Road, in the vicinity of Miri General Hospital, Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club.
The commercial area is proposed to have its own shop lot buildings and shopping mall, a (yet to be named) hotel, a service apartment, and a bus terminal. The commercial area is named Assar Commercial Centre Phase II, with 32 units of 3-storey shophouses.
The project is developed by Yong Lung Construction, with a joint venture by Assar Development Miri Indah.

The Hopoh Canteen is a decades-old food center, located at the Hopoh Association Building at Krokop at Jee Foh Road, Krokop.
Curry Rice is usually a plate of white rice, topped with chopped steamed chicken and chopped pork 'char siew' and finally curry gravy is poured on top of it all. 
The Miri District Police Headquarters is located just off Miri-Pujut Road, just off before Pelita Commercial Area.
