Yakin Commercial Center is located at Krokop, alongside Jalan Bulan Sabit and after the junction to Jee Foh 4, located next to Pei Min Middle School. The area was constructed around the early 1990s.
Today, the commercial center is most known for its major coffeeshop / food stall of the same name with a huge selection of menus to choose from, and has other retailers and supplier businesses within.

Miri Handicraft Center has various traditional handicrafts and pottery on display and for sale at the center. Artwork such as paintings are also its main attraction. Visitors are welcome to know more about our local cultures and browse through the many hand-made crafts & souvenirs home. 
Kingwood Boutique Hotel is a distinctive hotel located alongside the famous corridor along North Yu Seng Road. Previously known as Rinwood Inn, the hotel underwent extensive renovations and redesigns to bring it up to date in 2014. Features retro-1970s design theme.
Second world war bomb shelter / tunnels located on the hillsides of Canada Hill provided shelter during bombing raids during World War II. Much of Miri was flattened and burned out during this period.
A small, neglected Colonial era cemetery is located in between Gymkhana Club Miri and St. Columba's primary school. The cemetery contains a mix of European ex-pats, Chinese & orang Asli graves with marker stones.
