"The Oil Town" Shopping Complex is a retail and shopping mall located right next to Dynasty Hotel. It was the second fully air-conditioned shopping mall complex in Miri. 
Literally, Sungai Tujoh is translated as the Seventh River or Seventh Stream spelled in the form of Bruneian Malay language. An immigration post was built in the 1960s to control the movement of goods and people between Miri and points west in Sarawak with Brunei, at this "7th river".
Myy Mall Shopping Complex, Lutong township's first shopping complex. Described as a “suburban family friendly mall”, the mall opened to the general public in 2013. 
The Miri Public Swimming Pool, open to public in the 1980s features a competition sized 50 meter length pool with diving platforms, along with the usual kiddie pool.
