Pujut is a large residential area located on the Northern part of Miri, spanning about 3 kilometers from Boulevard Commercial Center all the way to Lutong bridge.

The area is divided into sections from Pujut 1 to Pujut 8, with roads named as such, with some commercial areas in between.

Highstreet Chinese New Year Market (also known as Gong Xi Bazaar) is an annual event that takes place about a week before the celebration of the Chinese New Year eve. Highstreet Roads are closed off during this week to set up stalls during day, with a section of Kingsway closed at night for the event.

Miri Night Street Market (Brooke Road)

Miri Night Street Market at Brooke Road, is proposed by the Miri Council to be implemented some time around the end of February or early March 2018 that offers a trading space for night market vendors, traders, farmers, artists, craftspersons for trading of their goods or services at night.
